Dora Garcia is the winner of the International Prize of Contemporary Art of the Prince Pierre Foundation of Monaco (PIAC), for her work The Deviant Majority (2010). Spazio Punch hosts the project The Joycean Society (2012-2013), which the artist considers the third work in a series. This work, a video installation, draws inspiration from reading groups and literary clubs, specifically those who read the works of James Joyce in public. In this work the artist observes and documents the moments when members of a community engage in understanding a literary language in relation to narrative and stories translated into writing.

A project by Università Iuav di Venezia, Department of Cultures of the project, curated by Gabriele Monti with the students of the 3rd year of the IUAV degree in Fashion Design. In collaboration with Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia – Palazzo Mocenigo, Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali e il Turismo Direzione Regionale per il Veneto, Soprintendenza Archivistica per il Veneto.

IT Dora Garcia è vincitrice del Premio Internazionale di Arte Contemporanea della Fondazione Principe Pierre di Monaco (PIAC), per la sua opera The Deviant Majority (2010). Spazio Punch ospita il progetto The Joycean Society (2012-2013), che l’artista considera il terzo lavoro di una serie. Quest'opera, una video installazione, trae ispirazione da gruppi di lettura e club letterari, nello specifico coloro che leggono in pubblico le opere di James Joyce. In questo lavoro l'artista osserva e documenta i momenti in cui i membri di una comunità si impegnano a comprendere un linguaggio letterario in rapporto alla narrazione e alle storie tradotte in una scrittura.
